As part of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Oxford Hub, we have launched a sustainability-focused mentorship programme called "Lead for Sustainability (LfS)" for Oxford students in 2020. In the first years, we have matched over 100 students with a large number of mentors from a wide range of fields, including sustainable finance, consulting, policy research, corporate sustainability, and natural resource management. Following a successful first year of the project, we launched the project again in 2021 and 2022, helping even more young people with their ambitions to have an impact in sustainability. The programme has expanded toward including curated sessions, such as panels and topic-specific workshops to enhance students' exposure in sustainability careers. Moving forward, we are collaborating with other WEF Global Shapers Hub to run a joint mentorship programme, where students and mentors from more regions can be benefitted. While this has already started in 2022, the 2023-2024 edition of the project includes a collaboration with the hubs in Cambridge and London.
