Shaping Fashion is a cross-hub project that deals with sustainability issues in the fashion and textile industries. The aim is to raise awareness on the impact that this sector has on the environment and climate change, calling our community to action.

reShaping Fashion is the name of the local team at the Milan Hub that works on this initiative.

Over the past year we developed social media campaigns on facts and figures of fashion sustainability, together with practical tips on how to be better consumers. 

2021 - Reshaping Fashion Minute

In 2021 we launched a new project, the Reshaping Fashion Minute, a video pill published every Friday, focusing on the hottest issues of environmental and social sustainability in fashion, covering the latest news of the industry and much more. 

During Fashion Revolution Week 2021 we took a deep dive into the subject of human rights in garment production, focusing especially on the impact that “our” Made in Italy had on the social sustainability of the fashion system in Italy and overseas. Four ad hoc videos were produced by the team, tackling different angles of the subject. 

What's next

We plan to keep expanding our network in order to develop local projects with a strong impact, while having our voice heard on issues we’re all passionate about.
