Wandile Mtoba is an aerospace engineer and social entrepreneur. A graduate of the University of Michigan’s College of Engineering with a B.S.E in Aerospace Engineering. Wandile began his career at global engineering giant General Electric. His work was in the Power & Water division, working with aero-derivative gas turbines that are used for power generation across the African continent.\\Wandile then transitioned into the defense industry working as an aerodynamicist at Denel Dynamics. Denel Dynamics is a leader in the development of subsonic missiles, supersonic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVS).\\Wandile is also a co-founder of IDWork an online platform for artisans and home service providers to connect with potential employers. IDWork in 2016 was crowned best startup in South Africa by Seed Stars World. Currently, the platform has 300 service providers and operates across the South African province of Gauteng.
